Today’s trip was to Aplos, a Fresno-based software company that makes accounting and management software for nonprofits and churches. Aplos is a small, fast-moving team with big ambitions!
Today’s visit was led by Aplos’s Chief Operating Officer, Eric Nasalroad. Naslaroad talked about company history, strategy, trajectory, and HR. He shared about funding rounds, finance strategy, and cash management. Michele Visser, the company’s Global Sales Director, talked about how to develop customers and how to craft new sales channels. Eric Burgess, manager of inbound marketing, talked about changes in marketing, and how the dynamic between companies and customers is changing.
Alex Acree shared how the marketing funnel works, and more about Aplos’s history. Jayne Fossett talked about how to support customers, while Megan Russell shared some secrets about turning customers into customer evangelists. Katelen Weisenberger talked about the nature, value, and process of strategic partnerships, and how Aplos is using their API to create even more value for customers.
